Dance Theatre of Staten Island is celebrating its tenth season, this fall. The director, Ms. Nicole Napolitano-Monahan has been studying and teaching dance for many years and has completed her BA in Dance Education from Hunter College. And her MA in Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent. She is also certified by New York State & New York Citys Education Department. The Dance Theatre of Staten Island continues to focus on teaching dance as an art form. The Director applies a conceptual approach to teaching dance that provides students with a solid foundation for all forms of dance. Pre-ballet & movement classes are offered to our beginning level students & Classical Ballet & Modern techniques are offered to those more advanced. Classes in Jazz & Tap techniques are also taught to more advanced levels
